Jhang Campus - LCWU - Pak Student Hub

The Jhang Campus is a sub-campus of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), a public women’s university headquartered on Jail Road, Lahore. The campus serves female students of Jhang district in central Punjab. LCWU’s website has a dedicated ‘Jhang Campus’ section and has reported campus events such as an annual get-together in February 2020, confirming that the campus is operational, but it publishes very little descriptive information about it.

About the Campus

LCWU itself was founded in May 1922 as an intermediate college, became a degree-awarding institution in 1999 and a women’s university in September 2002. It is one of the largest women’s universities in Asia, with around 15,000 students and more than 500 faculty across seven faculties. The Jhang sub-campus extends this women-only model to a district where girls’ access to higher education has lagged behind the big cities.

As of October 2026 the official site does not state the campus’s establishment year, address or the departments present there. The university-wide faculties are Science and Technology; Arts and Social Sciences; Islamic and Oriental Learning; Management and Administrative Sciences; Engineering and Technology; Education; and Pharmaceutical and Allied Health Sciences – but which of these operate at Jhang is not published. Treat third-party lists of Jhang programs with caution and confirm with the campus.

LCWU’s Fall 2026 BS admission notice lists programs for the university as a whole without a campus column, and the Jhang Campus page lists no programs. Programs at this campus therefore could not be confirmed on the official site as of October 2026. Admissions at this Campus

LCWU runs a single online admission system for all its BS programs – applicants apply at lcwu.edu.pk, upload scanned documents, pay the dues and are placed on merit lists published at meritlists.lcwu.edu.pk. For Fall 2026 the Phase I window was 9 June to 15 July 2026 and Phase II ran 7 September to 2 October 2026, with Phase II classes starting on 19 October 2026 (source: LCWU dates and deadlines page).
