The Main Campus of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad profile (UAF) is located on Jail Road in Faisalabad, Punjab. UAF traces its origins to the Punjab Agricultural College founded in 1906 and became a university in 1961, making it the oldest agricultural university in Pakistan.
About the Campus
The main campus hosts all of UAF’s faculties: Agriculture, Social Sciences, Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Nutrition and Home Sciences, Sciences, and Arts and Humanities. Although the university is best known nationally for agriculture, veterinary medicine and food science, the Faculty of Sciences now runs a large computing group (computer science, IT, software engineering, AI, data science and bioinformatics) and the campus also has a business school, an engineering faculty and a Pharm-D programme. Experimental farms, research institutes and the central library are all on site.

Admissions at this Campus
Admission to every UAF campus, including the sub-campuses, is handled centrally by the university through the online portal at admissions.uaf.edu.pk. Applicants sit the UAF entry test (two sittings were held for 2026-27, with results posted on 5 July and 2 August 2026) and list campus preferences; merit lists for 2026-27 are published on the official undergraduate admissions page. Facilities
The prospectus lists hostels for male and female students, a central library and digital library, sports facilities, a health centre, transport, and extensive research farms. UAF offers merit scholarships to the top 10% of students by CGPA, fee concessions for siblings, interest-free loans through National Bank and a UAF loan scheme, and installment options for financially constrained students (source: official prospectus).
