Bahria University conducts its own computer-based entrance test (BUET) of 100 MCQs in 120 minutes for all undergraduate programmes, with SAT accepted as an alternative. Test Format
Computer-based; 100 MCQs (4 options), 100 marks, 120 minutes, no negative marking. Subject split: Management/Business/Media/Maritime/Humanities/LLB: Verbal 50%, Quantitative 15%, Analytical 15%, GK 20%; CS/Electrical/Computer/Software Engg: Verbal 30%, Quant 15%, Analytical 15%, Physics 10%, Maths 30%; Earth & Environmental Sciences: Verbal/Quant/Analytical/(Bio or Maths + Chem + Physics) 25% each; Medical Sciences: Verbal, Physics, Chemistry, Biology 25% each; BS Psychology/English/Islamic Studies: English 50%, GK 25%, Verbal Reasoning 25%. Passing marks 33%.

Preparation Tips
- Verbal (English) is the largest component for most programmes: build vocabulary and reading comprehension.
- CS/Engineering applicants should focus on FSc Maths (30%) and Physics.
- No negative marking: answer all 100 questions.
- Practise analytical reasoning puzzles for the 15% analytical section.
- Aim well above the 33% pass mark since the test carries 60% of merit.
