Merit Formula

Aggregate = (Matric obtained/total × 0.3 × 100) + (Intermediate Part-1 obtained/total × 0.7 × 100), calculated to 4 decimal places without rounding.

Preparation Tips

  • No entry test – your Intermediate Part-1 (70%) and Matric (30%) marks decide admission, so maximise those.
  • Calculate your aggregate with the official formula before applying to gauge program chances.
  • Pre-Medical students applying to Pre-Engineering-type programs must take two Maths courses in first year – plan accordingly.
  • Hafiz-e-Quran candidates should prepare for the Hifz test to claim up to 20 bonus marks.
  • Watch the schedule page for multiple merit lists and ‘missing opportunity’ rounds.
