BS Software Engineering at the National University of Modern Languages is a four-year undergraduate engineering-style computing degree offered at the Islamabad main campus and at the Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi and Mirpur AJK campuses.
Program Overview
BS Software Engineering (BSSE) at NUML shares its programming and mathematics foundation with BSCS but concentrates on how software is specified, designed, built, tested and maintained at scale. Students study software requirements engineering, software design and architecture, software construction, quality assurance and testing, project management, human-computer interaction, web engineering and DevOps-style practices, finishing with a team-based final-year project that follows a full development lifecycle.
Choose BSSE if you are more interested in building reliable products with a team than in the theoretical side of computing. It suits organised students who like process, documentation and collaboration as much as coding.
