DHA Suffa University (DSU) is a private university in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority with engineering, computing, business and humanities programs, plus a second campus at DHA City Karachi. It admits students through its own admission test with Fall and Spring intakes.

Admission Process

Admissions are open for Fall 2026 (Spring intakes are also advertised). Applicants submit the online form on the DSU portal, upload documents, pay the processing fee (Rs. 1,500 on-campus or Rs. 2,500 online for undergraduate), receive an admit card by email, sit the admission test and then receive an offer letter and fee voucher. Minimum eligibility is 60% HSSC/A-Level/DAE for engineering and 50% for computing, business and humanities programs.

Entry Test and Merit

DSU conducts its own walk-in admission test (on campus or online); some online test takers are randomly called for on-campus interviews. Applicants who scored 50% or above in MDCAT or the entry tests of NED, University of Karachi, NUST (NET) or MUET may apply under a special admission route. No merit formula is published on the pages reviewed.

Approximate Fee Range

Per the official fee-structure page, main-campus undergraduate tuition is roughly Rs. 3,375-6,270 per credit hour plus lab charges, with first-semester totals of about Rs. 122,650 to Rs. 184,750 (including one-time admission fee and caution money); DCK campus totals are lower after a 25% scholarship.
