University of Malakand is a public university at Chakdara, Dir Lower, chartered on 30 August 2001. It offers programs across arts, social sciences, natural sciences, biological sciences, computing and management.

Admission Process

Apply online through the University CMS portal (cms.uom.edu.pk); one form lets you choose up to three disciplines. Results-awaited candidates may apply provisionally and must update marks on the portal before merit lists appear. Candidates with under 45% in HSSC or third division are ineligible, and there is an age limit of 22 for BS (females exempt). Admissions for Fall 2026 were announced on the website; check official website for dates.

Entry Test and Merit

LLB (5-year) applicants must have qualified the HEC LAT, and BS Software Engineering applicants must provide a valid ETEA test result. For other BS programs the test requirement and merit formula are not stated: check official website.
