BUITEMS Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

This admission record covers undergraduate admissions at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta, for the 2026-27 session, which includes the Fall 2026 intake and the Spring 2027 intake. BUITEMS admits twice a year, and all information is published on the official website buitms.edu.pk, with the online form hosted in the university admissions system.

Admission Schedule

As of October 2026 the Fall 2026 cycle is at its final stage: the second admission list has been announced and the fee deposit deadline has been notified as 13 October 2026 in one notice and 16 October 2026 in another, so students should confirm with the Admissions Office. The previous Spring 2026 cycle opened on 15 January 2026 with a form deadline of 3 February 2026 and an NTS candidate list on 25 February 2026, which gives a reasonable idea of when Spring 2027 is likely to open. Eligibility Criteria

BUITEMS publishes a program-wise eligibility document for each cycle (the Fall 2026 version is a PDF linked from the admission page). In general, engineering programs require pre-engineering intermediate, life-science programs require pre-medical or related groups, and management, social science and IT programs accept a wider range of streams. Minimum percentages differ by program and were not confirmed in text form – check the eligibility PDF on buitms.edu.pk/admission.

How to Apply

The official procedure, as described on the admission page, is:

1. Fill in the online admission form through the BUITEMS admissions system.
2. Download and print the completed form.
3. Attach attested copies of your matric and intermediate certificates, CNIC or B-form, domicile, father or guardian CNIC, character certificate from your last institute, and six passport-size photographs.
4. Attach the application fee receipt or bank draft.
5. Send the hard copy to the Admissions Office, BUITEMS Quetta, before the closing date.
6. Appear in the NTS admission test when called (or submit a valid NTS or HAT result).
7. Check the merit lists and deposit the admission fee before the deadline given in the list.

Entry Test and Merit

Eligible applicants sit the NTS admission test; a valid NTS or HAT score can also be submitted instead. Final merit is calculated from matric marks, intermediate marks and the admission test score, although the exact percentage weightage is not stated on the admission page. Fee and Scholarships

Application processing fee (non-refundable): Rs. 2,500 for the online form (US $75 for foreign applicants) or Rs. 2,000 for the manual form, payable by bank draft or pay order in favour of the Registrar, BUITEMS Quetta, or in cash at Habib Bank Limited, BUITEMS University branch.
