University of Peshawar Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

This record covers BS (4-year) undergraduate admissions at the University of Peshawar for the Fall 2026 intake of the 2026-27 session. The University of Peshawar (UoP), the oldest public university in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, admits BS students once a year through its Directorate of Admissions. Applications are submitted online through the admissions section of uop.edu.pk, and the fee schedule and admission calendar are published as official PDFs.

Programs Open for Admission

UoP advertises more than 45 disciplines at BS level. The Fall 2026 fee schedule lists programs under these faculties:

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants need an intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/ICom) or equivalent qualification in a stream relevant to the chosen department; science departments generally require FSc, while arts and social science departments accept all groups. The minimum percentage and department-specific conditions are given in the UoP prospectus and were not verified for this record, so check the official website. Reserved seats exist for Hafiz-e-Quran (separate test on 22 July 2026) and for candidates with disabilities (interviews on 23 July 2026).

How to Apply

1. Visit the Undergraduate Admissions section on uop.edu.pk between 10 June and 27 July 2026 and open the online application.
2. Register with your CNIC/B-form, email and mobile number and fill in matric and intermediate details.
3. Choose your department preferences (and quota category if applicable).
4. Pay the application processing fee through the method given on the portal and upload the proof.
5. Submit before 11:00 PM on 27 July 2026 and download your admit card.
6. Appear for the admission test on 2 August 2026, reporting by 8:00 AM.
7. Check the provisional list (6 August) and final list (11 August); complete document scrutiny and pay the fee on 12-13 August, or from 17 August for the waiting list.

Entry Test and Merit

UoP conducts its own admission test for BS programs (2 August 2026 for Fall 2026); results and complaints are handled by email on 3-4 August. The weightage of the test versus academic marks is defined in the prospectus and was not confirmed here. Fee and Scholarships

From the official Fall 2026 fee schedule: admission fee Rs. 3,000 per semester for BS programs (Geology Rs. 6,000 annually), refundable security Rs. 5,000, retaining fee Rs. 2,500 and repeat course fee Rs. 7,000 per course. Total per-semester fees are listed in two sets (subsidized and regular), for example Computer Science Rs. 54,500 / Rs. 70,000, Business Administration Rs. 54,500 / Rs. 70,000, Archaeology Rs. 19,400 / Rs. 22,900, and Geology Rs. 73,800 / Rs. 93,050 per year; the Pharmacy fee is to be announced. Some listed totals do not exactly match their components, so verify with the department before paying.
