The University of Peshawar (UoP) is the oldest and largest public university of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, established in 1950. It offers BS programs in more than 45 disciplines across arts, sciences, social sciences, management, health sciences and pharmacy, with admissions handled by its Directorate of Admissions for the Fall session.

Admission Process
Admissions are handled by the Directorate of Admissions through its AMIS section. BS admissions are announced for the Fall session, with schedules, eligibility and seat details published in the official BS brochure on uop.edu.pk. Entry Test and Merit
No university-wide entry test or merit formula is stated on the official pages reviewed; most BS programs appear to be admitted on academic merit. Check the official BS admission brochure for program-specific requirements.
Approximate Fee Range
For Fall 2026 BS programs the official fee schedule lists approximately PKR 19,400 to 54,500 per semester for subsidized programs, PKR 22,900 to 70,000 for regular and new programs, and PKR 61,800 to 80,000 for the first semester of institute and college programs (such as computer science specialisations, health sciences, management and commerce), plus a PKR 5,000 refundable security deposit.
