University of Poonch Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

The University of Poonch Rawalakot issued its Admission Advertisement 2026 on 21 August 2026 and extended the Fall 2026 application deadline through a notice dated 2 October 2026. As of mid-October 2026 the extended window has just closed or is closing, and the university is moving into entry-test and merit-list stages for the Fall semester. Programs Open for Admission

Fall 2026 undergraduate programmes include BSc (Hons) Agriculture and BS Food Science & Technology, DVM, Pharm-D, Bachelor of Eastern Medicine & Surgery, BS Medical Lab Technology, BSc Electrical Engineering, BS Computer Science & IT, BS Botany, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology, BBA, BS Commerce, English, Economics, Islamic Studies, Psychology and Sociology, across the Rawalakot, Kahuta and Mong campuses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Intermediate or equivalent with the minimum percentage set per programme
• Relevant subject group (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, general)
• UGAT score where required
• AJK domicile for state seats and valid CNIC/B-Form

How to Apply

1. Go to lms.upr.edu.pk/admissions and start a new application
2. Enter personal and academic details and upload documents
3. Choose up to three programme options (Rs. 300 extra per additional option)
4. Pay the processing fee by the method shown on the portal
5. Register for the UGAT phase announced for your programme and sit the test
6. Check merit lists and deposit dues by the stated date
7. Attend document verification at the campus you were admitted to and collect your student card

Documents and Tips for Applicants

Before applying on the LMS portal, scan your matric and intermediate certificates with marks sheets, AJK domicile, CNIC or B-Form, guardian CNIC and a recent photograph in the sizes the portal specifies. Because UPR allows three programme options, rank them carefully: a DVM or Pharm-D applicant can add BS Zoology or Chemistry as a fallback without a separate form. The UGAT roll-number slip must be kept until enrolment, as merit is linked to the test record. Watch the official notice board rather than social media for test dates, which were rescheduled twice during 2026. Students from Haveli and Sudhnoti should check whether their programme runs at the Kahuta or Mong campus before choosing a campus. Hostel applications at Rawalakot are accepted with the admission form and allotted on merit and distance.
