Air University Kharian Campus is the newest Punjab campus of Air University, the PAF-sponsored public-sector university headquartered in Islamabad. According to the official campus website it was established in 2024 as a modern, purpose-built campus in Kharian, District Gujrat, serving students from Gujrat, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot and the surrounding areas of northern Punjab.
About the Campus
The official site (kc.au.edu.pk) lists three faculties: Computing and Cyber Security, Management Sciences and Social Sciences. Undergraduate programs confirmed on the site are BBA, BS Accounting and Finance, BS Computer Science, BS Cyber Security and BS Artificial Intelligence, with MS Management and MS Computer Science at postgraduate level. The Social Sciences faculty is listed without program details – check official website.
Kharian is a cantonment town on the GT Road between Lahore and Islamabad, and the campus gives students of the Gujrat-Jhelum belt access to an Islamabad-based federal university without relocating. Admissions for Fall 2026 were advertised through the central AU system, and Kharian serves as one of the out-station CBT centres. Facilities are described only briefly on the official site.

Admissions at this Campus
Air University admissions are centralised through the AU admission portal with a single advertisement for all campuses (admission advertisement). Applicants choose the campus and program preferences, pay the processing fee and sit the Computer Based Test (CBT). Kharian is listed among the out-station CBT centres for the Fall 2026 schedule. For Fall 2026 the official schedule listed an undergraduate application deadline of 2 July 2026, the first merit list on 27 July, second on 31 July, third on 6 August, orientation on 30 August and classes from 31 August 2026 (Source: AU admission schedule).
The next intake is Spring 2027 / Fall 2027 – check official website for dates. Our Air University entry test page covers the CBT and exemption rules, and an Air University admission record will be linked from the admissions archive when available.
Facilities
Fee and financial-aid information for all campuses is on the AU fees and financial assistance page. The official Kharian site mentions a library and a student-facilities section but does not describe them in detail; as a 2024 campus, facilities are still being developed.
