The Mirpurkhas Campus of the University of Sindh is a sub-campus of the Jamshoro-based university located in Mirpurkhas city, the divisional headquarters of lower Sindh. The official campus page describes it as a sub-campus created to bring higher education closer to students of Mirpurkhas and the neighbouring districts of Sanghar, Tharparkar and Umerkot; the page does not give an establishment year.
About the Campus
According to the official page (usindh.edu.pk/page/41), the campus offers a four-year BS degree in five disciplines and follows the same rural and urban district-wise quota system as the main campus. A Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Narejo, heads the campus. Mirpurkhas is a mango-growing and trading hub on the Hyderabad-Umerkot road, and the campus mainly serves students who would otherwise travel to Jamshoro or Hyderabad for a university degree.
One important caution: the University of Sindh Admissions 2027 advertisement (advertisement_2027.pdf) lists programmes for the Badin, Dadu, Thatta and Naushahro Feroze campuses but does not mention Mirpurkhas. A separate public-sector University of Mirpurkhas also operates in the city. Applicants should therefore confirm directly with the Directorate of Admissions whether the Sindh University sub-campus is admitting new batches this cycle.
