The Shikarpur Campus of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur was the university’s sub-campus in Shikarpur city, upper Sindh. It no longer operates as a SALU campus: it has been upgraded into an independent public university, The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur, whose official site states that it was formerly the Shikarpur campus of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur and became a separate university through a government notification (saus.edu.pk/about-us).
About the Campus
Shikarpur is a historic trading city on the Sukkur-Jacobabad road, and the campus was set up to serve students from Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kashmore districts who otherwise travelled to Khairpur or Sukkur. As Shaikh Ayaz University, named after the Shikarpur-born poet, the institution is located on Main Road, Shikarpur, and is organised into a Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce (Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science) and a Faculty of Arts and Humanities (English Language and Literature, Basic Sciences and Related Studies, Mathematics, Teacher Education), according to its official site. Neither the SALU homepage nor the SALU Prospectus 2027 lists a Shikarpur campus any longer.

Students who want a SALU degree in upper Sindh should look at the main campus in Khairpur or the Ghotki and Shahdadkot campuses, which still appear in the Prospectus 2027 and admit through admission.salu.edu.pk; see our SALU Khairpur Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27 record and the SALU entry test page. For Shikarpur itself, follow the Shaikh Ayaz University admission notices.
