The main campus of the University of Central Punjab (UCP) stands on Khayaban-e-Jinnah Road in Johar Town, Lahore, Punjab. UCP began operations in October 1999 through its constituent colleges and received its charter in April 2002, which the university describes as making it the first private-sector degree-awarding university in Punjab.

The Johar Town campus hosts all nine UCP faculties: Pharmaceutical Sciences; Languages and Literature; Information Technology and Computer Science; Engineering; Media and Mass Communication; Humanities and Social Sciences; Science and Technology; Management Sciences; and Law. Programs Offered at this Campus
The Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science offers BS Computer Science, BS Artificial Intelligence and related computing degrees, including a post-ADP BS Computer Science. Other faculties run BBA, engineering, pharmacy (Pharm-D), law, media, languages and social science programs. Admissions at this Campus
All undergraduate admissions run through UCP’s central admissions office and online portal. Applicants submit the form, take the UCP Admission Test and are ranked on Matric 10%, Intermediate 45% and test 45% for computing programs; merit scholarships of 25% to 75% are applied to the first instalment. Facilities
Official pages mention a campus map, solar panels, laboratories, an auditorium and production facilities, and numerous student societies.
