BS Artificial Intelligence – University of Central Punjab

The University of Central Punjab runs a four-year BS Artificial Intelligence in its Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science at the Johar Town campus in Lahore. The official page lists the degree at 132 credit hours across 44 courses and eight semesters, with a minimum completion time of four years and a maximum of seven.

Program Overview

The UCP BSAI builds the usual programming and mathematics base in the first year and then concentrates on artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, data mining and intelligent agents, with electives and a final year project. Compared with the BSCS at the same faculty it drops some systems courses in favour of statistics and AI methods, so it fits applicants who already know they want to work on models and data rather than infrastructure. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants need at least 50% marks in FSc Pre-Engineering, FSc Pre-Medical, ICS or A-Levels with Mathematics (or equivalent). Pre-Medical admits take two extra Mathematics courses (6 credit hours) in the first year. Passing the UCP Admission Test is mandatory, and the selection formula is Matric 10%, Intermediate 45% and admission test 45%. Source: official BSAI page.

2. Upload academic certificates and identity documents.
3. Appear in the UCP Admission Test at the Johar Town campus.
4. Accept the merit offer by paying the admission fee and first instalment within the deadline.

Fee Structure

For 2026-27 UCP lists BS Artificial Intelligence at Rs 16,630 per credit hour and an admission fee of Rs 28,000. The first semester total is Rs 277,450 with a first instalment of Rs 152,725 (Rs 121,544 with a 25% scholarship, Rs 115,308 with 30%, Rs 90,363 with 50%, Rs 59,181 with 75%); the total fee including admission is Rs 2,223,160.
