LUAWMS Entry Test 2026-27

LUAWMS in Uthal conducts its own entry test for undergraduate admission, and the test carries a published 40 percent weight in merit. Which Test Is Required

• BS, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, DVM, BBA, BS Civil Engineering and other undergraduate programs: LUAWMS entry test (university-conducted).
• Candidates found eligible for the test or interview are notified by the admission office; the test is not open to applicants who miss the processing fee.
• No NTS, ETEA or HEC test is mentioned on the official admission requirements page.

Test Pattern

The official pages confirm the test’s weight but not its format. Candidates are usually tested on intermediate-level subjects relevant to their faculty along with English; confirm the current pattern with the admission office or the test notice.

In practice, agricultural universities in Pakistan set their tests on FSc Pre-Medical content for Agriculture and DVM, FSc Pre-Engineering content for Civil Engineering and Computer Science, and a general paper for business and social-science programs, and LUAWMS has followed this pattern. Because 40 percent of the merit comes from the test, a strong test score can lift a candidate with average intermediate marks above others on the district quota list.

Eligibility

• Intermediate (HSSC) or equivalent in a relevant group; Agriculture and DVM normally require Pre-Medical, Civil Engineering requires Pre-Engineering.
• Minimum percentage set per program — check official website.

Preparation Tips

• Because the test is 40 percent of merit, treat it as seriously as your HSSC exams.
• Revise the FSc syllabus for your faculty: Biology and Chemistry for Agriculture and DVM; Physics and Mathematics for Civil Engineering and Computer Science.
• Practise English comprehension and basic quantitative questions daily.
• Collect your documents and pay the Rs. 3,000 processing fee early — unpaid forms are not processed.
