BS Artificial Intelligence at QUEST Nawabshah is a four-year, eight-semester science degree offered in both the morning and the evening shift. It was added to the Faculty of Science portfolio alongside Computer Science and Information Technology to meet demand for machine-learning skills in Sindh.

Program Overview

The curriculum starts with programming, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, probability and data structures, then moves into machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, computer vision, knowledge representation and intelligent agents. Students are expected to use Python toolchains heavily and to complete a capstone project that trains and deploys a real model.

It is a good fit for students who like statistics and coding and who want to work on prediction, recommendation and automation problems. Those who want the engineering licence instead should look at BE Computer Systems or BE Software Engineering, since BS AI is a science degree and is not registered with PEC.

Eligibility Criteria

The official 2026 notice sets the bar for BS admission at a minimum of 50 percent marks in HSC-II, DAE or equivalent, with Hifz-ul-Quran marks and grace marks excluded; passing years from 2021 to 2026 are accepted, and SSC-II must not be older than 2019. Pre-engineering, pre-medical and computer science groups are all considered for BS degrees, though the notice says admission of pre-medical candidates to BS Physics needs HEC permission. Regular and self-finance seats are for candidates domiciled in Sindh; applicants from other provinces can apply only under the self-finance scheme, and some seats are reserved for overseas Pakistanis and differently-abled candidates. Admission Process

Create an account on the QUEST admissions portal and complete the online form; the 2026 cycle opened on 25 April 2026.
Pay the processing fee through the online HBL challan generated by the portal.
Upload the scanned photo (blue background) and the deposited challan by the closing date, which was 24 May 2026 for Batch-26.
Sit the MCQ-based Pre-Admission Test at the Nawabshah campus (from 9 June 2026) carrying your admit slip and original CNIC or Smart Card.
Follow the merit lists, interview and admission dates announced on the portal and the university website.
