Explore BE Electrical (Automation and Control) Engineering – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.
BE Electrical (Automation and Control) Engineering at QUEST Nawabshah is a four-year engineering degree run from the Electrical Engineering department and admitted as a distinct discipline in the Batch-26 (2026) cycle. Classes are held in the morning shift at the Sakrand Road campus.
Program Overview
This specialisation focuses on making machines and processes run themselves. Core courses include classical and modern control theory, industrial instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (PLC), SCADA systems, robotics, sensors and actuators, process control and industrial networks, built on a foundation of circuits, electronics and signals. Lab work with PLC trainers and simulation tools is a large part of the degree.
It appeals to students who want to apply electrical engineering inside factories, refineries, power plants and water systems. The track is narrower than general Electrical Engineering, so applicants should be sure they enjoy control systems and programming of industrial equipment.
