BS Artificial Intelligence at Bahauddin Zakariya University profile is a four-year undergraduate degree offered by the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, at the Multan campus in both morning and evening sessions. It is one of the few dedicated AI bachelor degrees available in southern Punjab’s public sector.

Program Overview

The programme follows the computing core for its first two years and then concentrates on machine learning, neural networks and deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, intelligent agents and AI ethics, with a final year project. Because the department also offers BS Data Science, students share statistics and data-mining courses and have access to the Computing Research and Development Centre’s multicore servers for training models. It suits students with solid intermediate mathematics who want to work on data-driven and automated systems rather than general software development.

The official programme listing requires Intermediate with at least 50% aggregate marks in one of: Pre-Engineering or Commerce; General Science or Humanities with Computer Science or Mathematics; a DAE in Electrical, Electronics or IT; A-Level with Computer or Mathematics; or Pre-Medical, in which case Additional Mathematics must be passed within the first year. Admission Process

1. Submit one online application at apply.bzu.edu.pk during the advertised call (Fall 2026 ran in several calls, with Call-II announced on 3 August 2026).
2. Select the Department of Computer Science and the morning or evening session; pay the processing fee by challan.
3. Appear in any departmental test or interview if the call notice requires one.
4. Check the department-wise merit lists on the BZU portal and pay dues by the stated deadline (Call-III lists in September 2026 gave three days each).
5. Report to the department with original documents for enrolment.

AI graduates from BZU can look at machine learning and data roles in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, remote positions with foreign firms, and a growing set of local openings in Multan’s software houses and agri-business analytics.
