Explore BE Biomedical Engineering – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.

BE Biomedical Engineering at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Nawabshah is a four-year morning-shift engineering degree. It is the only BE at QUEST that the 2026 admission notice explicitly opens to pre-medical intermediate candidates as well as pre-engineering students.

Program Overview

Biomedical Engineering applies electronics, mechanics, materials and computing to medicine. Students study human anatomy and physiology alongside biomedical instrumentation, medical imaging, biomechanics, biomaterials, signal processing of ECG and EEG, rehabilitation engineering and hospital equipment management. The programme ends with a final year project that often involves a low-cost diagnostic or assistive device.

The degree suits students who wanted to combine healthcare with engineering, including pre-medical students who did not get into MBBS but are strong in physics and mathematics. Pre-medical entrants should expect to catch up on mathematics in the first year, as the admission notice flags this group separately.
