Career Scope in Pakistan

In Pakistan, botany graduates work with agricultural research institutes, forestry and wildlife departments, seed and pesticide companies, environmental consultancies, botanical gardens and herbaria. School and college teaching remains the largest employer, and an M.Phil. opens doors to lecturer positions and research posts in universities and bodies such as PARC. Plant tissue culture and horticulture businesses are smaller but growing niches.
