Explore BE Building and Architectural Engineering – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.
BE Building and Architectural Engineering at QUEST Nawabshah is a four-year engineering degree offered in the morning shift and listed among the 14 BE disciplines open for Batch-26 (2026) admission. It is a civil-engineering-family programme that adds architectural design to structural and building-services content.
Program Overview
The degree covers building materials, structural design, building services such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC, architectural drawing and design studio, building codes, construction technology, quantity surveying and project management. Students learn to coordinate the architectural intent of a building with its structural and mechanical systems, a skill gap that is often felt on Pakistani construction sites.
It suits students who want more design freedom than plain civil engineering offers but who still want a PEC-registrable engineering degree rather than a five-year Bachelor of Architecture. Good drawing ability and interest in buildings help, and candidates must still meet the 60 percent intermediate requirement for BE admission.
