Explore BE Chemical Engineering – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.
BE Chemical Engineering at QUEST Nawabshah is a four-year PEC-accredited bachelor of engineering degree taught in the morning shift. It belongs to the Faculty of Engineering and is one of the disciplines where QUEST draws on the sugar, fertiliser and chemical industry of interior Sindh for internships and projects.
Program Overview
Chemical Engineering covers material and energy balances, chemical engineering thermodynamics, fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, separation processes, chemical reaction engineering, process control, plant design, process safety and industrial chemistry. Unit-operations laboratories and plant visits teach students how reactors, distillation columns, evaporators and boilers behave at industrial scale.
Students with strong chemistry and mathematics who want to design and run processes rather than only analyse substances in a lab should consider this degree. It is more mathematical than BS Chemistry and leads to a PEC-registrable engineering qualification.
