Explore BS Chemistry – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.
BS Chemistry at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Nawabshah is a four-year, eight-semester science degree taught in the morning shift. It is listed among the BS disciplines in the Batch-26 (2026) admission notice and shares its low self-finance fee bracket with BS Physics and BS Mathematics.
Program Overview
The degree covers inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry, biochemistry, spectroscopy, polymer chemistry, environmental chemistry, industrial chemistry and instrumental analysis, with heavy laboratory work throughout. Proximity to the Chemical Engineering department means students see how laboratory chemistry scales up to industrial processes.
It suits students with pre-medical or pre-engineering backgrounds who enjoy practical lab work and want careers in analysis, quality control, teaching or research. Compared with BE Chemical Engineering it is less mathematical and more focused on substances and reactions than on plant design.
