Hands-on labs with security tools and a capstone project are central.

It appeals to students who are curious about how systems are attacked and defended and who are comfortable working at the command line. Candidates from pre-engineering, ICS and pre-medical backgrounds can apply for BS programmes if they meet the 50 percent threshold.

Career Scope in Pakistan

Cyber-security professionals are in short supply in Pakistan. Graduates work as security analysts, SOC analysts, penetration testers, network security engineers, forensic investigators and compliance officers for banks, telecom operators, software houses, the FIA and other government agencies, and managed-security providers. International remote work and certifications such as CEH and CompTIA Security+ add further options.
