BE Electronic Engineering at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Nawabshah is a four-year PEC-accredited morning-shift degree. The department is one of the five that make up the faculty of electrical, electronics, telecommunication and computer systems engineering.

Program Overview

Electronic Engineering works at the component and signal level: semiconductor devices, analogue and digital electronics, signal processing, microcontrollers, communication electronics, instrumentation, VLSI design and embedded systems. Students spend considerable time in electronics and digital labs and usually complete a hardware-based final year project.

The degree suits students who enjoy physics, circuits and hands-on building. Compared with Electrical Engineering it deals with low-power devices and information rather than bulk power, and compared with Computer Systems Engineering it goes deeper into devices and signals and lighter on software.
