BE Environmental Engineering at QUEST Nawabshah is a four-year PEC-accredited morning-shift degree offered in the Faculty of Engineering. It is listed in the university’s undergraduate programme page and in the Batch-26 (2026) admission notice among the engineering disciplines.
Program Overview
The programme deals with water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, solid and hazardous waste management, environmental impact assessment, environmental chemistry and microbiology, hydrology, climate change and sustainable development, supported by civil engineering fundamentals such as fluid mechanics and surveying. Laboratory analysis of water and air samples and field visits to treatment plants are part of the training.
The discipline suits students concerned about pollution, water scarcity and public health who want technical tools to address them. Sindh’s challenges with drinking water quality, industrial effluent and urban waste make the subject locally relevant.
