Explore BS Mathematics – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.
BS Mathematics at QUEST Nawabshah is a four-year, eight-semester degree run by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Science. It is offered in the morning shift and is one of the lowest-fee programmes at the university on the self-finance scheme.
Program Overview
The degree builds from calculus, linear algebra and differential equations through real and complex analysis, abstract algebra, numerical analysis, probability and statistics, mathematical modelling, operations research and computing with MATLAB or Python. Because the department serves an engineering university, applied and computational mathematics receive more emphasis than in a general arts-and-science faculty.
It is well suited to students who genuinely enjoy mathematics and who want a foundation for teaching, data work, actuarial or research careers. Candidates with mathematics at intermediate level are expected; pre-medical students without mathematics should confirm eligibility with the admission office.
