Explore BE Mechanical Engineering – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.

BE Mechanical Engineering at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Nawabshah is a four-year PEC-accredited morning-shift degree in the Faculty of Engineering. The department also supports the Industrial and Manufacturing and Energy Systems streams that QUEST advertises separately.

Program Overview

The curriculum spans engineering drawing and CAD, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanics of materials, machine design, manufacturing processes, internal combustion engines, refrigeration and air conditioning, power plant engineering and mechanical vibrations. Workshop practice, materials testing and thermal labs run alongside the theory, and the final year project is usually a designed and fabricated machine or system.

Mechanical Engineering suits students who enjoy understanding how engines, pumps, turbines and machines work and who are comfortable with calculus-heavy physics. It remains the broadest engineering degree, which is useful for students who are undecided between the energy, manufacturing and automotive sectors.
