Riphah International University offers a four-year BS Artificial Intelligence (BSAI) of 136 credit hours through its Faculty of Computing. The official program page lists three delivery sites: the I-14 Campus in Islamabad, the Gulberg Green Campus in Islamabad (female section) and the QIE Campus in Lahore.
Program Overview
The BSAI shares its first-year computing core with the BSCS, then branches into artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, knowledge-based systems, data mining and an AI-focused final year project. The program is designed for students who want to work on predictive models, intelligent automation and data products rather than general software, and seat numbers are deliberately small: 50 per campus according to the official page. Eligibility Criteria
A minimum 50% aggregate in both SSC and HSSC (or equivalent via IBCC) with Mathematics is required. Pre-Medical students with at least 50% may be admitted and must pass two additional Mathematics courses (6 non-credit hours) in their first year. Admission Process
- Apply through admissions.riphah.edu.pk, choosing the BSAI program and campus (applications for 2026 opened on 15 May 2026 per the official page).
- Upload academic documents and identity proof; result-awaiting candidates submit Part I marks.
- Appear in the campus entry test or interview.
- Accept the offer and pay the first semester dues to confirm the seat; hostel applications are made separately.
Fee Structure
For the first semester the official page lists PKR 199,718 at I-14 and Gulberg Green (tuition PKR 8,714 per credit hour, 17 credit hours, PKR 148,138 tuition) and PKR 145,100 at QIE Lahore (PKR 6,850 per credit hour, 15 credit hours). Fees exclude taxes and levies; exam, enrolment and lab fees recur every semester. Hostel is listed at PKR 248,400 per semester for female boarders and PKR 216,000 for male boarders. Career Scope in Pakistan
AI graduates in the twin cities find roles as machine learning engineers, data scientists, computer vision developers and AI research assistants in software exporters, telecom analytics teams, security and defence-linked technology firms and public sector digitisation projects.
