The BS Computer Science (BSCS) at Riphah International University is a four-year, 136 credit hour degree offered by the Faculty of Computing. It is taught at the I-14 Campus in Islamabad and the Gulberg Green Campus (both run by the Riphah Institute of Informatics), the QIE Campus in Lahore (Riphah School of Computing and Innovation) and the Malakand campus. Riphah is a private, HEC-recognised university chartered by the federal government.

Program Overview

Riphah’s BSCS follows the HEC computing curriculum: programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, discrete structures, data structures and algorithms, database systems, operating systems, computer networks, software engineering, theory of automata, and a two-semester final year project, together with the university’s Islamic studies and ethics component that is part of every Riphah degree. The program suits students who want a standard, accredited CS degree with a choice of campus in Islamabad or Lahore and separate male and female sections at some sites. Source: riphah.edu.pk BSCS.
