Explore BE Software Engineering – QUEST Nawabshah at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.
BE Software Engineering at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Nawabshah is a four-year professional engineering degree offered in the morning shift. Along with Civil Engineering it carries the highest self-finance fee at QUEST, which reflects how competitive its regular seats are.
Program Overview
Software Engineering treats software as an engineered product. Beyond programming languages and data structures, the degree covers requirements engineering, software design patterns, software architecture, testing and quality assurance, project management, DevOps practices and formal methods. Students build systems in teams across several semesters, with the final year project usually delivered for a real client or department.
It suits students who enjoy problem solving and structured teamwork and who want a PEC-recognised engineering title rather than a plain computing degree. Candidates with pre-engineering intermediate are the norm; the discipline is one of the two at QUEST that also accepts the ICS (Computer Science) group at intermediate level, so check the current prospectus for your combination.
