Admission Process
Apply online at onlineadmission.iba.edu.pk, register for the IBA Aptitude Test, pay the test fee and download the admit card; intake is Fall (the site currently shows Admissions Open for Fall 2027). Candidates must meet program eligibility (for example HSSC 65% for BBA, BSBA and BS Accounting and Finance; 60% for BS Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics and Social Sciences; A-Level, IB and high-school equivalents accepted with IBCC equivalence) and qualify the aptitude test or hold an exemption, after which merit lists and interviews (for top SAT/ACT scorers) follow. Admission is strictly merit based with no quota seats.
Entry Test and Merit
IBA conducts its own Aptitude Test covering quantitative, analytical and logical reasoning plus English comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. SAT-I, ACT, GMAT or GRE scores may be submitted for test exemption (no minimum SAT; ACT composite 28-29 depending on program), but only top scorers on the SAT merit list receive direct admission or an interview. Merit cut-offs are set statistically by the Admissions Committee and are not published.
Approximate Fee Range
For Fall 2026 (Year 1) IBA lists tuition of approximately PKR 31,500 per credit hour for all undergraduate programs, plus student activity charges and 3% Sindh sales tax. A per-semester total depends on the credit hours taken and is not stated.
