IBA Karachi Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

This record covers undergraduate admissions at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi for the 2026-27 academic year, that is, the Fall 2026 intake and the upcoming Fall 2027 cycle. IBA admits undergraduate students once a year for Fall, and every step – application, aptitude test, group discussion and interview – is managed through the IBA Online Admissions System at admissions.iba.edu.pk.

Eligibility Criteria

IBA publishes separate undergraduate criteria pages for each intake (Fall 2024, 2025 and 2026 are listed). The percentage requirements and the alternatives to the aptitude test (such as standardized test scores) are given on those pages, which could not be verified in text form – check the official website. Required documents for every applicant are the matriculation or O-Level certificate, the intermediate or A-Level certificate, an IBCC equivalence certificate for O/A-Level students, and a CNIC, B-form or birth certificate. Submitting false information or fake documents leads to permanent debarment.

How to Apply

The official procedure described on the IBA Admission Procedure page is:

1. Create an account on the IBA Online Admissions System and complete the application form.
2. Pay the admission processing fee through a bank challan at the designated bank branches.
3. Receive your admit card by email and SMS (or download it by logging in) once the fee is posted.
4. Choose a test city when applying; the aptitude test is held in Karachi and other cities.
5. Appear for the aptitude test with your admit card and a photo ID.
6. If you pass, attend the group discussion and then the interview.
7. If selected, your name is listed on the website and you receive the admission letter and fee challan by email; submit transcripts, original documents and gazetted-attested copies to enrol.

Entry Test and Merit

The IBA Aptitude Test is the main entry gate; past papers are available on the admissions site for practice. Candidates who clear the test proceed to a group discussion and interview that assess communication, leadership, maturity, academic aptitude and motivation. Fee and Scholarships

IBA keeps a fee structure page on the admissions site, but tuition amounts were not verified for this record – check the official website for the current per-semester fee, which is considerably higher than public universities in Karachi.
