BBSUL Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) Karachi admits undergraduates twice a year. As of October 2026 the Fall 2026 cycle is closed — the reported deadline was 24 July 2026, the test 26 July, the merit list 28 July, fee submission by 13 August and orientation on 20 August 2026. The Spring intake has in the past been advertised in October-November (Spring 2026 closed on 17 November 2025), so a Spring 2027 notice is expected soon; check the official website. All dates here come from reports of the advertisements, since the official homepage does not carry them — the university’s own notice is authoritative. Eligibility Criteria

• Intermediate (HSC-II) or equivalent for 4-year BS/BBA/B.Ed; pre-medical for Pharm-D.
• 14 years of education (BA/B.Com/BSc/Associate Degree) for fifth-semester entry.
• Minimum percentages are not published on the pages we verified — check the official website.
• Original documents and CNIC/B-Form required at admission; domicile may be requested.

How to Apply

1. Read the current advertisement on bbsul.edu.pk.
2. Fill the online application form and select your programme and shift.
3. Pay the processing fee challan at the designated bank and upload the receipt.
4. Download the admit slip and appear for the admission test on the announced date.
5. Check the merit list on the official website.
6. Pay the admission fee and submit original documents before the last date.

Entry Test and Merit

BBSUL’s own test is used for all 4-year programmes, with a separate Pharm-D test (reported 50% weightage). Pattern and other weightages are not officially published — see our BBSUL Entry Test 2026-27 page.

Practical note for Spring 2027 applicants: BBSUL’s Spring advertisement has in the past appeared only two to three weeks before the deadline, with the test the following weekend. Prepare your scanned documents (matric and intermediate marksheets, CNIC/B-Form, domicile, photograph) now, decide between morning and evening shift, and watch the official website and campus notice board in late October and November 2026 so you do not miss the short window. Lateral-entry applicants should also have their BA, B.Com or Associate Degree transcript ready.

Fee and Scholarships

Programme-wise fees are not published on the official pages we reviewed — check the official website or prospectus. As a public-sector university BBSUL charges per-semester fees that are usually well below private universities in Karachi, and evening self-finance sections cost more than morning seats. Scholarship schemes are likewise not listed on the pages we could verify; students usually apply for HEC need-based support and Sindh Education Endowment Fund awards, and the university’s student affairs office handles applications after enrolment.
