Habib University Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

Habib University admits once a year for classes beginning in the autumn, so there is no separate Spring intake. As of October 2026 the university has opened admissions for its 2027 cycle (announced 25 September 2026); the Fall 2026 class is already enrolled. The first application deadline of the new cycle is 21 October 2026 and rounds continue until February 2027. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have completed or be completing Intermediate, A Levels, a High School Diploma, Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification by June 2027 and must meet the subject and grade prerequisites set for their chosen school. Borderline cases may write to the Office of Admissions for an individual decision.

How to Apply

1. Register on the e-application portal at https://eapplication.habib.edu.pk/.
2. Complete and submit the form before your round’s deadline; the same deadline applies to scholarship and financial aid forms.
3. Pay the application fee online or upload the receipt (amount: check the official website).
4. Take the Habib University Entrance Test on your scheduled date.
5. Upload the meta-curricular form and, if shortlisted, attend the interview.
6. Accept the offer and pay the enrolment fee; early test registrants get a discount on it.

Entry Test and Merit

The College Board prepared entrance test assesses English and mathematics, with the maths level depending on whether you apply to engineering or to arts and social sciences. SAT I scores and strong grades can earn an exemption, but the university still recommends sitting the test. No published formula exists; merit draws on the test, academics, the meta-curricular form and interview.

Fee and Scholarships

The student finance page says the listed fees are for 2026-27 and that 2027-28 fees will be posted once finalised; rupee figures were not visible on the page at the time of writing, so check the official website. Scholarships range from Habib Merit (up to 50%) and Habib Excellence (60% to 80%) to Habib Yohsin (100%), with HU TOPS (100%) and HU EOP (up to 80%) for Intermediate-board applicants, plus need-based grants. Documents and Practical Notes

Keep scanned copies of your Matric and Intermediate (or O and A Level) results, CNIC or B-Form, a passport-style photograph and any SAT score report ready before the round deadline, because the e-application, scholarship form and financial aid form all close on the same day. Applicants sitting their final exams in 2027 can apply on predicted or partial results and submit the final transcript later. If you want to be considered for the Habib Yohsin or HU TOPS scholarship, apply in the October or November round; the university states that round two scholarship opportunities are limited. Students outside Karachi can choose the January series with its Islamabad test venue, but interviews and classes are still in Karachi.

Tips for Applicants

• Apply in the earliest round you can prepare for; scholarship pools shrink later.
• Fill the financial aid form at the same time as the application, not after the offer.
• Use the official sample questions and SAT material for test practice.
• Treat the interview as a conversation about why you want a liberal arts core, not just a program.
