The fixed calendar makes Kinnaird one of the more predictable admissions in Lahore. In 2026 the entire process, from the opening of applications on 29 June to the start of classes on 18 August, took seven weeks, with general and reserved-seat merit lists running on parallel tracks. Candidates who were not on the first list should note that the college issues a second list only “if required”, so a vacancy depends on withdrawals.

The official guidelines make three warnings explicit: forms received after the last date are not accepted, forms that do not meet handbook criteria are rejected, and admission can be cancelled at any stage if documents prove fake or misstated. Original documents should not be attached to the form; they are shown at the interview and at fee submission.

Hostel seats are limited and require a separate hostel application form attached to the admission form, so out-of-city applicants should submit both together. For intermediate-level admissions, Kinnaird publishes separate online guidelines, which should not be confused with the undergraduate document summarised here.
