Eligibility Criteria

MUET’s published rule for BBA, which mirrors its general undergraduate policy, requires at least 60% marks without grace marks in intermediate; engineering applicants need Pre-Engineering (or equivalent A-Level or DAE in the relevant technology for BE Technology), while BS and BBA accept Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, General Science, Commerce or relevant A-Level backgrounds (Source: bm.muet.edu.pk). A computer-based pre-admission test is compulsory under the Regular Scheme, and the test is held in separate Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and General Science shifts. Seats are allocated district-wise within Sindh under the Regular Scheme, with separate Self-Finance (SFS) and University Support Program (USP) quotas. Confirm the exact criteria for your discipline in the current prospectus (Undergraduate Prospectus 2026-27).

How to Apply

  1. Read the detailed advertisement and prospectus on admissions.muet.edu.pk.
  2. Create an account on ugadmissions.muet.edu.pk and complete the online form with discipline preferences and campus choice (Jamshoro or Khairpur).
  3. Upload your photograph, CNIC/B-form and marks sheets by the stated deadline – candidates with missing documents are listed publicly and may be declared not eligible.
  4. Pay the test fee through the channel specified in the advertisement.
  5. Appear in the computer-based pre-admission test on the date scheduled for your district.
  6. Check the district merit list on the test day and attend the interview the following day if called; provisional interview call lists are published in phases.
  7. Complete admission formalities and pay the fee by the deadline given with your seat offer.

Entry Test and Merit

The MUET pre-admission test is a computer-based test conducted by the university itself, district by district. For Batch-26 the results were released on 2 and 3 June 2026 by shift and group. The weightage of the test against intermediate marks is defined in the prospectus and is not reproduced here; candidates who pass the test are placed on the provisional interview merit call list. Our MUET pre-admission test page explains the format, subjects and preparation.

Fee and Scholarships

Fee structures for the Regular, Self-Finance and USP schemes are linked from the admissions portal but were not retrievable at the time of writing; the only published example is the BBA schedule on bm.muet.edu.pk totalling Rs. 74,650 at admission for an earlier batch, with tuition of Rs. 33,000 per quarter. Check the official fee page for 2026-27 amounts. MUET runs a Student Financial Aid Office and participates in HEC need-based and provincial endowment scholarships – see our Scholarships section.
