The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) is a four-year undergraduate degree taught at the main campus in Jamshoro, Sindh. Although MUET is best known for engineering, the official BS Programs page (muet.edu.pk) lists BBA among its seven four-year BS-level programmes.
Program Overview
MUET’s BBA gives students a management education inside a technology university: the usual core of accounting, finance, marketing, human resource management, operations, economics, business statistics and strategy, taught in an environment where engineering, software and industrial projects are close at hand. That setting suits students who want to manage technology-driven businesses, work with industrial firms in the Kotri and Karachi belt, or combine business with an understanding of engineering organisations. The programme is run by the university’s business and management unit (bm.muet.edu.pk).

Eligibility Criteria
The programme’s own page states that candidates need at least 60% marks, without grace marks, in intermediate from Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, General Science or Commerce groups, or an A-Level in business or humanities subjects, and must sit MUET’s computer-based pre-admission test under the Regular Scheme (Source: bm.muet.edu.pk/bsprogram.php). Those conditions were published for an earlier batch; confirm the 2026-27 criteria in the current prospectus on the admissions portal.
Admission Process
MUET admits all undergraduates, including BBA, through one annual cycle managed by its Directorate of Admissions. For the 2026-27 session (Batch-26) the detailed advertisement was published on 14 April 2026 and the pre-admission tests were held district-wise in late May and early June 2026, with merit lists posted on test days and interviews the following day (Source: admissions.muet.edu.pk news). Candidates register on the undergraduate admission portal, upload documents, pay the test fee, appear in the test and interview, and then accept the seat offered. Our Mehran University Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27 record and the MUET entry test page have the step-by-step details.
Fee Structure
The BBA page lists a fee schedule with an admission fee of Rs. 23,000 per year, tuition of Rs. 33,000 per quarter, verification, enrolment and ID card charges, Rs. 6,000 refundable caution money and Rs. 7,000 per quarter for transport, totalling Rs. 74,650 at admission (Source: bm.muet.edu.pk/bsprogram.php). That schedule refers to an earlier intake, so treat it as indicative and check the official fee structure linked from the admissions portal for the current batch. The page notes that deserving students may receive tuition support.
Career Scope in Pakistan
BBA graduates from MUET move into banks, insurance and leasing companies, sales and marketing roles in FMCG and telecom, supply chain and procurement positions in manufacturing, and management trainee schemes. The engineering-university background is an advantage with industrial employers in Sindh such as cement, fertiliser, power and oil and gas companies. Many graduates continue to an MBA or professional qualifications such as ACCA or CA.
