NUMS Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

This record covers undergraduate admissions at the National University of Medical Sciences for 2026-27. • BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics and BS Food Science & Technology (KHINAMS, Islamabad)
• BS Public Health
• BS Psychology
• BS Microbiology, BS Biotechnology, BS Molecular Biology & Genetics

• MBBS and BDS via centralised admissions at constituent and affiliated colleges

The BS programs run at the NUMS campus in Rawalpindi and at KHINAMS in Islamabad, while MBBS and BDS seats sit with Army Medical College and the CMH medical and dental colleges and are filled through the centralised NUMS admission system rather than college-by-college applications. Candidates whose Intermediate result is awaited can apply for BS programs on their first-year marks and regularise later, which is useful for students finishing HSSC in the same year.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nutrition and food science: 50% in FSc/A-Level (Pre-Medical, Humanities with Biology and Chemistry, Pre-Agriculture, Pre-Engineering) or relevant DAE.
• Public health: 50% in FSc, FA, ICS, I.Com or A-Level.
• Biological sciences: 50% in FSc/A-Level Pre-Medical or Humanities with Biology and Chemistry.
• Psychology: check the official website.
• A qualifying score in NUMS MDCAT, NTS NAT, HEC USAT or the online NUMS Admission Test.
• MBBS/BDS: PM&DC eligibility and MDCAT.

How to Apply

1. Register online at https://ugadmissions.numspak.edu.pk/ — hard copies are not accepted.
2. Pay the Rs. 2,500 processing fee at any HBL branch and enter the challan details.
3. Select all programs you wish to apply for (one fee covers all).
4. Upload SSC/HSSC results or first-year marks if result-awaiting.
5. Sit the online NUMS Admission Test or submit a valid NAT/USAT/MDCAT score.
6. Check the merit list on the portal and pay dues before the deadline.

Entry Test and Merit

BS merit: Test 50% + HSSC 40% + SSC 10%. MBBS/BDS follow PM&DC and NUMS centralised rules. Test options and tips are in the NUMS entry test guide.
