QAU Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

This record covers the Fall 2026 undergraduate admission cycle at Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, for BS, LLB and Pharm-D morning programs on regular and self-finance seats. QAU admits once a year for the Fall semester through its central online portal at ugadmissions.qau.edu.pk; there is no separate Spring 2027 undergraduate intake on the official notice.

Eligibility Criteria

The general minimum is 50% marks in HSSC Part I (FA/FSc or equivalent). Subject conditions apply by program: Computer Science needs Mathematics (Pre-Medical with Additional Mathematics); IT needs Physics and Mathematics; Chemistry needs FSc with Chemistry; Biochemistry and Zoology need Pre-Medical; Pharm-D requires a complete FSc Pre-Medical result with at least 60%; LLB requires 50% in FA/FSc plus at least 50 in the HEC Law Admission Test. There is no age limit. Candidates who already hold a BS, LLB or Pharm-D degree, are enrolled at QAU, or submit false documents are ineligible. Result-awaiting applicants must submit the full HSSC result within 45 days of its declaration.

How to Apply

1. Register on ugadmissions.qau.edu.pk and fill in the online form; hand-delivered or posted forms are not accepted.
2. Pay the Rs 2,860 application processing fee online through Kuickpay or 1-Bill and upload the receipt, otherwise the form is rejected.
3. Enter up to three regular and three self-finance choices (maximum six).
4. Upload scanned SSC and HSSC Part I marksheets, CNIC or B-Form, parent or guardian CNIC, domicile, IBCC equivalence (if applicable), the undertaking form and any quota certificates.
5. Check the merit lists on lists.qau.edu.pk on the announced dates; no call letters are sent.
6. Deposit the fee online within the stipulated period. Paying for a regular seat cancels your other choices.

Entry Test and Merit

QAU holds no entry test for BS programs. Regular-seat merit is FA/FSc Part I 70% plus SSC 30%; self-finance merit is FA/FSc 70% plus Matric 30%; Pharm-D uses the complete FSc result at 70% plus SSC 30%; LLB is Part I 50%, LAT 30% and SSC 20%. Hifz or other bonus marks are not mentioned on the notice. Reserved seats include one per department each for children of Army personnel, disabled persons, minorities and martyrs’ children, a 2% sports quota, 10% self-finance seats for foreign and dual nationals and 5% for children of overseas Pakistanis. Fee and Scholarships

For Fall 2026, the bachelor fee structure lists Rs 106,530 at admission for Law, Computer Science and IT on a regular seat (Rs 38,040 admission plus Rs 68,490 semester dues) and Rs 180,620 on self-finance; other departments have their own rows on the same page, and a 5% advance tax may apply.
