SZABIST Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

SZABIST runs Fall and Spring intakes. The Fall 2026 cycle has closed, and based on the institute’s pattern (Spring 2026 admissions opened on 13 October 2025 with tests in mid-December) the Spring 2027 window is expected to be live in October and November 2026; as of mid-October 2026 we could not verify Karachi dates in text on the official site, so check the official website before relying on any date. The SZABIST profile gives background and the SZABIST entry test guide covers the entrance test.

Documents and Practical Notes

SZABIST still requires physical submission of documents: photographs, Matric or O Level certificate and marksheet, Intermediate or A Level certificate and marksheet, CNIC or B-Form, a passport copy for foreign nationals, and the statement of entry or admit card if results are awaited, together with the paid HBL challan slip. These go by courier or hand delivery to the Clifton admissions office, and the admit card can be printed only after the office approves the file. Recommendation letters, where required, must come from referees in a sealed envelope or by fax quoting your application ID. Fees are not refunded after classes begin, though they can be carried forward with the Program Manager’s approval.

Tips for Applicants

• Use the messaging option on the admission website; the institute lists it as the preferred contact route.
• Apply to the Karachi campus directly rather than relying on inter-campus transfer later, which has its own policy.
• Check the Hyderabad and Islamabad campus pages only for pattern; Karachi dates and fees are set separately.
• Keep the application ID handy for every follow-up, including referee letters.
