UET Peshawar Abbottabad Campus is a satellite campus of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar located in Abbottabad city, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the university’s official ‘About UET’ page it was inaugurated in October 2002 in the former premises of Ayub Medical College, bringing engineering education to the Hazara division.
About the Campus
The campus serves students from Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Battagram, Torghar and Kohistan who previously had to travel to Peshawar for an engineering degree. It is best known for its Electronics Engineering department and for being the second UET campus, after Peshawar, to run a Bachelor of Architecture programme; the 2026-27 architecture advertisement offered subsidised open-merit seats at Abbottabad. The campus also hosts Computer Science and Software Engineering departments, giving it a technology-heavy profile within the UET system.

Admissions at this Campus
Admission to every UET Peshawar campus is centralised. Candidates take the ETEA engineering entrance test, then apply through the single online portal at admission.uetpeshawar.edu.pk, listing their preferred disciplines and campuses in order; the university prepares merit lists for each programme-campus combination. There is no separate campus-level application. Open-merit seats require KP or erstwhile FATA domicile and at least 60 percent unadjusted marks in FSc or equivalent.
