Entry Test and Merit
UET Peshawar does not run its own engineering entrance test. Admission is based on the ETEA (Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) engineering test, a 100-question multiple-choice paper covering Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Computer Science and English with no negative marking, taken at ETEA centres across the province; ETEA registration is separate from the UET application. Merit is calculated from the ETEA score together with intermediate and matric marks; the exact weightage is published in the prospectus and was not stated on the pages reviewed, so check the official website. Architecture and Interior Design additionally require a skill or drawing test held at the main campus, and Hafiz-e-Quran candidates sit a separate test for additional marks. Full guidance is on our UET Peshawar entry test page.
Fee and Scholarships
Tuition fees are not published on the pages consulted for this record; the prospectus and the fee-voucher section of the admission portal give the current semester dues for subsidised (open-merit) and self-finance seats, so check the official website. The 2026-27 prospectus states that UET Peshawar offers merit-based and need-based scholarships through its Scholarships Office, facilitates laptops under the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, and that Mining Engineering students can access HEC, Government of KP and industry-sponsored scholarships subject to eligibility.
