The main campus of the Information Technology University (ITU) occupies floors of the Arfa Software Technology Park on Ferozepur Road, Lahore, Punjab. ITU was established by the Government of Punjab in 2012 as a specialised IT-focused public university and has since grown into a multi-faculty institution.
About the Campus
Unlike a traditional walled campus, ITU operates inside Pakistan’s best known technology park, which places students next to software companies, the Punjab Information Technology Board and incubators. The university is organised into four faculties: Sciences, Engineering, Business and Management Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Administrative units on site include the Registrar and Treasurer offices, the Controller of Examinations, ORIC, QEC and a Student Services and Placement Office. ITU also holds a UNESCO Chair.
