UET Peshawar Mardan Campus was the university’s satellite campus in Mardan city, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, established as part of UET’s early-2000s expansion. It has since been upgraded into a separate public university, the University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan, which the ETEA now lists as its own admitting institution for the 2026 entrance test. As of October 2026 the official UET Peshawar website lists only Abbottabad, Jalozai and Bannu as its satellite campuses.
About the Campus
The Mardan campus started with electrical, telecommunication and computer software engineering departments and grew quickly because it serves the populous Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda and Nowshera districts. Its success led the provincial government to charter it as an independent university; UET Mardan now runs its own admissions, prospectus and merit lists, although it still relies on the same ETEA engineering test that UET Peshawar uses. For historical reasons many students and websites still refer to it as the UET Peshawar Mardan campus.

Programs Offered at this Campus
Programmes could not be confirmed for this campus. Current programmes are published by UET Mardan rather than UET Peshawar; the UET Peshawar 2026-27 prospectus (official PDF) lists no Mardan campus programmes, and ETEA lists ‘UET Mardan – ETEA Entrance Test 2026’ separately (etea.edu.pk). Programmes vary by session – check the official website.
Admissions at this Campus
Admission to every UET Peshawar campus is centralised. Candidates take the ETEA engineering entrance test, then apply through the single online portal at admission.uetpeshawar.edu.pk, listing their preferred disciplines and campuses in order; the university prepares merit lists for each programme-campus combination. There is no separate campus-level application. Open-merit seats require KP or erstwhile FATA domicile and at least 60 percent unadjusted marks in FSc or equivalent. See the UET Peshawar Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27 record and the UET Peshawar entry test page for the full process.
Facilities
Facilities at Mardan are now administered by UET Mardan. Check that university’s official website for hostels, laboratories and transport details.
