The Gujranwala Campus of the University of the Punjab profile is a sub-campus in Gujranwala, the industrial hub of central Punjab. It offers business, commerce and English degrees to students of Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin under the Punjab University charter.
About the Campus
The 2026-27 admission notice lists five undergraduate programmes at Gujranwala, all in commerce, business and English, which reflects the campus’s focus on the trading and manufacturing economy of the city. Admissions, schedules and regulations are the same as the main campus, and no separate sports trials are held for Gujranwala applicants. The establishment year is not given on the official pages reviewed.

Admissions at this Campus
Punjab University runs a single centralised undergraduate admission cycle for all campuses through admissions.pu.edu.pk; the official eligibility instructions state that the Gujranwala, Jhelum and Pothohar campuses follow the same schedule and regulations as the main campus in Lahore. For 2026-27 the second phase (vacant seats) accepted applications from 8 to 28 September 2026 with a Rs. 550 processing fee (source: official notice). See our Punjab University entry test page and the admissions archive.
Because Gujranwala programmes are all non-engineering, applicants from FA, FSc, ICS and ICom backgrounds are eligible, subject to the department-level requirements in the official instructions. Merit lists for the campus are posted on the same portal as the Lahore lists, and the Rs. 550 application fee is paid by challan at HBL or UBL or through 1Bill. Fee amounts for the campus are in the 2026-27 dues schedule linked from the official fee page.
