The Allama Iqbal Campus, also called the Old Campus, is the historic city campus of the University of the Punjab profile in the centre of Lahore, Punjab. The university was founded in 1882 and this campus holds its oldest buildings.
About the Campus
The official campuses page describes the Allama Iqbal Campus as being in the middle of a busy urban area and known for its historically significant architecture. Most academic departments and administrative offices have gradually moved to the Quaid-e-Azam (New) Campus, but the Old Campus still serves a number of university functions. The official 2026-27 fee schedule lists BS Computer Science (morning and self-supporting afternoon) and other programmes under this campus, and several colleges and institutes continue to operate here.

Admissions at this Campus
Punjab University runs a single centralised undergraduate admission cycle for all campuses through admissions.pu.edu.pk; the official eligibility instructions state that the Gujranwala, Jhelum and Pothohar campuses follow the same schedule and regulations as the main campus in Lahore. For 2026-27 the second phase (vacant seats) accepted applications from 8 to 28 September 2026 with a Rs. 550 processing fee (source: official notice). Applicants do not choose a campus directly for most Lahore programmes; they apply to a department and are taught wherever that department is housed. For BS Computer Science the fee schedule places both morning and self-supporting sections at this campus, and the fee amounts for 2026-27 are in the official dues PDF linked from pu.edu.pk/fee.
Facilities
