Admission Process

Apply online through the PU admissions portal (admissions.pu.edu.pk). Applications are invited for BS 1st semester (and 5th semester entry for some programs), and a second phase is normally opened for vacant seats. Merit lists are published on the portal, and PU also provides a merit calculator and last year’s merit for reference. Co-curricular quota lists are issued separately. Exact deadlines for each session: check the official website.

Entry Test and Merit

PU publishes an entry test schedule and results page for the programs that require a test, but the official pages do not list a single university-wide formula. Most BS programs are admitted on open merit based on intermediate and matric marks. Check the official website and the PU merit calculator for your program.

Approximate Fee Range

Check official website. PU lists its BS programs on the fee page and links a “Fee/Dues Schedule 2026-2027” PDF; the amounts are only available inside that document.
